All about Captain only charters: You charter the yacht and a captain.
The captain will take care of sailing the boat and will arrange an itinerary with you that meet your requirements taking into account weather, feasibility etc.
Captain only charters may offer water sports such as diving, kayaking, windsurfing etc. You will be responsible to provisioning the yacht, do the cooking and cleaning.You will experience the security of a qualified Captain, local knowledge and flair.
It’s a way to save money on your charter and experience a relax casual, no pampering sailing vacation All toys and amenities included, so you enjoy the comfort and amenities of a crewed yacht without the expense of gourmet cuisine or the limitation of dining on board.
Extra costs on Captain only charters are provisions (food and drinks) for your group and the captain, fuel, water, ice, local permits.
Roughly $35 day is a good estimate on food per person per day. Monohull will use an average of $80 of fuel a week, a catamaran average $100, power boats use more, please inquiry.
Charters are for 7 nights, from Noon until Noon and can start and end on any day convenient to you and the yacht's availability.

There are traditional and modem sailing yachts with many amenities like you own home, comfortable fixtures with characteristics that suit you own personality. Your captain only charter option it’s a way to take pleasure in real sailing adventures with hands on below or above deck.

Weekly rates: $8,000 for 2 guests $8,700 for 4 guests and $10,400 for 6 guests
Trish has been living and working on boats worldwide for nearly 25 years. She has captained charter vessels in the British Virgin Islands since 1988. Trish's extensive knowledge and interest in the islands, their reef systems and the marine environment will add a new dimension to your time in the islands.
Captain Only Rate: Winter: $6,330+ Expenses - (Chef is $ 150/day additional)

Captain Nancy is a capable and enthusiastic sailor with over 8,000 offshore sea miles logged. She is fluent in German, and speaks French, Italian and Spanish with varying degrees of proficiency. Nancy came down to the British Virgin Islands in early 2007 to work as crew for the Moorings where she honed her charter and culinary skills. She offers a “half board package”, where Nancy’s prepares delicious and healthy meals.
The yacht is suitable for honeymooners/ anniversaries or especial occasions. The forward cabin can be open and transform on a queen size cabin.
Weekly Rate:
Captained-Only: up to 4 guests: $6,600 plus all running expenses.
Half board: up to 4 guests: $7,600 - includes 7 breakfasts, 3 lunches and 2 dinners aboard (other meals taken ashore)
