The bareboat Jeanneau 45 DS is available for charter in the Grenadines. The yacht’s highlights include twin helm positions without compromising the spacious and comfortable cockpit area. Robertson and Caine designed Leopard 40 catamaran was laid by an open-plan layout to offer not only comfortable cruising, but dynamic spacious quarters without compromise solid catamaran performance. The Leopard 40 is equipped with air-conditioning, and four double cabins with two shared heads with showers.

I particularly like the back-deck layout. A great deal of thought as to ergonomics has gone into it. Seated at the helm you can talk to all down lower on the back deck, the galley and to those in the main saloon. The cockpit fore-and-aft bench seat combines with the semi-circular table seating area is a nice fixture for entertaining and relaxation during your sailing Caribbean vacation.

The catamaran Leopard 40 is available for bareboat charters in the British Virgin Islands.

The bareboat Lagoon 450( 3 cabins version) is available for chartering in the BVI.

Lagoon have taken their well proven 410 and 470 designs and added a unique characteristic: the fly –bridge / rigid bimini, with an integral helm station, great visibility for the skipper and crew. The helm station is surrounded by all the sail control lines, reefing included, so that one person can easily handle all the maneuvers. After all those years living in the Caribbean and working on the chartering industry, by far the fly-bridge concept is the greatest design we have seem. I absolutely love it, and our charters guests do so. The cockpit has much more space and the upstairs view is an amazing experience, as you will be eyewitness a 360 degree sea view without limitation!

Bare Boat BVI Cyclades 50.4 Beneteau

The Beneteau 50ft is just the sailboat for larger groups of 8 guests to bare boat charter in the British Virgin Islands. All four cabins are a double size with their own en suite bathrooms. Air conditioning throughout is provided by an on board generator and there are plenty of hatches throughout the yacht. This boat is equipped with a bow thruster and electric halyard winch.

The deck layout is very efficient, with an electric windlass half sunk into the anchor well thereby providing the best position for raising the anchor chain. There is a large sunbathing area forward and uncluttered side decks with wide walkways. The cockpit is large and sits 8 people comfortable.

The charter catamaran Nemo loves to have children on board and there are wide nets installed especially for your family’s safety. This yacht is family friendly and both Andrea and Valentine love children and are very attentive and active crew. Chef Valentine speaks Italian, English and Spanish and her cuisine is divine! They produce their own drinkable water by filtrating it with a specific reverse osmotic water clarifies to guarantee its purity.(The huge environmental benefit is not to use and waste hundreds of plastic bottles). On board-produced water is kept cool (and sparkling if wanted) using glass bottles. The Crewed Catamaran Nemo is also equipped with two 66 x 130 cm solar panels with 315 W/h energy production and two Aeolian generators that satisfy all the energy needs of common utilities such as lights, battery chargers, fridge and freezer. The solar energy accumulated during day time and the Aeolian one for every breezy moment; day and night provide ample power.

This week I would love to share with you what I see as I look out my office window and while I drive around the island. I see yachts of all kinds, shapes and sizes. We are now in the cruising and chartering season. The Christmas winds are still up, with breezes between 20 to 22 knots. I have lived here for the past 21 years and it never ceases to amaze me how much I enjoy seeing so many vessels in the water. There are schooners, mega yachts, motor yachts, catamarans, and sailing yachts. The British Virgin Islands is a water way of so many vessels during this time of the year. It’s so excite to be here as a sailing aficionado, I am in the right place at the right time. Come and charter in the BVI and experience the kaleidoscope of yachts in our blue Caribbean waters. Crewed sailing yacht Oteka is a Lagoon 440 catamaran, owner version( the master suite in the starboard side extremely spacious) launched in 2008 and available for charter in the British Virgins Islands.

The charter catamaran offers three private cabins. Oteka’s interior and exterior design ensures all guests have plenty of space to relax, unwind and enjoy the stunning cruising Caribbean sailing grounds without feeling cramped.   The spacious aft cockpit is protected by a hard-top bimini making the cockpit useable in all weather conditions.
