The sleek looking VOYAGE 600 is 60ft long and 31ft wide and offers accommodations for up to 12 guests in 6 comfortable cabins. This yacht features 2 king cabins, 2 queen cabins and 2 double cabins with 6 en-suite bathrooms with electric heads. The catamaran Voyage 600 feature top of the line amenities including: generator, air conditioning, full Ray Marine electronics, water maker, and electric winches. There are Flat screen TV/DVD’s in each cabin and also in the salon with the addition of the Bose surround sound system with iPod docking station.

The salon has ample seating for 12 people comfortable and the cockpit has two dining tables, a built in fridge for drinks, a bar sink and easy access to the dinghy from each of the rear hulls. Luxury Catamaran TRUE NORTH’s crew is a multicultural young and dynamic couple consisting of Flavio Pescuma, an experienced captain and chef and Neila Zambrano, his partner, all weather sailor and your first mate. Together they are an excellent team, who will make sure you have the best holidays of your life.

Flavio, 37 years old, is a retired IT businessman born in Argentina inside a traditional Italian family.  Fluent in Spanish, English and Swedish, he started sailing at the age of 7 in the cold lakes of south Patagonia.

Neila, a lawyer and international business expert, was born in Venezuela.  She is fluent in Spanish, English and Swedish. Neila loves sports and exercising and is an excellent dancer of all Latin rhythms.

Both are very professional in their work, always seeking perfection. Flavio and Neila are very personable, they will take care of all yours requirements to make sure you will have the most memorable vacation!
The Catamaran True North is a great charter yacht for up to 4 couples or a family. She has 3 queen sized cabins, plus the King sized master cabin. All have en-suite facilities.

The spacious decks extend to the trampolines in the forward area which is a great shaded area to relax. There is also space on the aft deck from al fresco dining.

For the past 5 years the Caribbean sailing community and associated organizations are starting to implement sustainable environmental changes through the Green concept in order to preserve the Caribbean region.  This partnership involves many islands, most of the marine related businesses and the community as a whole. Although recycling isn’t well implemented in the islands, the marine community is doing its part.

This group of individuals, such as charter yacht captains, chefs, day sailing crews, marine managers, boat yard workers, boat cleaners, marina chandleries, island regatta coordinators, are utilizing practices that will optimistically preserve the rich environment of these islands. Green VI is a not-for-profit organization created in the British Virgin Islands to educate and demonstrate the principles and benefits of sustainable living.  Green VI opened a green glass studio on Cane Garden Bay; whereby glass from beer bottles is recycled. I visited Green VI and end up doing some great shopping.  They have a wonderful selection of gift items such as jewelry, glass vases, bowls and cups, all made with recycle glass. Here in the British Virgin Islands, The BVI Spring Regatta Committee introduced the “Green Regatta” a few years ago and the reduction of waste, mostly plastic was dramatically noted. The Charter Yacht Society of the BVI went Green in 2009 with the introduction of free re-usable aluminum water bottles to encourage the crew and brokers to re-fill on board from the yacht’s water maker.

Charter sailing yachts and luxury catamarans have engines and generators to keep up the high demand of the charterer’s needs. However, their carbon footprints have been minimized by the installation of solar panels and wind generators in quite a few of these Caribbean charter yachts.

The BVI’s crewed charter yacht fleet is very active in transforming and getting involved in every way they can. The charter chef, Annie, aboard the sailing yacht Sandcastle is an active volunteer for Reef Check, an organization committed to the preservation of coral reefs worldwide. Captain Trish Bailey on the sailing yacht Serendipity is a long time pioneer in going green on charter yachts. Serendipity doesn’t only offer ‘Captain Only’ charters, Trish  teaches her guests a lot about the fragile underwater world and how to take care of it

The crew on catamaran Secret Oasis volunteers to clean up the BVI beaches in their spare time. They have been following the example of Pacific Gyre  for many years.

The family-friendly BVI catamaran Viking Dream uses biodegradable bottom paint and ‘green clean’ products throughout its charters.

Captain Jerry on the diving catamaran Braveheart has replaced all of his lighting with LEDs, a low consumption, long lasting light.

The BVI diving charter catamaran Aldebaran offers individual re-usable water bottles and makes its own water. This green conscious catamaran adopts biodegradable products and shops for organic foods when available.

The crew of the fun catamaran Dreaming On have added wind scoops for all hatches. They use personalized re-usable individual aluminum bottles, have installed solar panels and use earth friendly & biodegradable products. They also take part in reef cleanups.

Catamaran FREE INGWE Diving BVI

The same island geography that makes the British Virgin Islands a perfect sailing destination also creates excellent SCUBA diving.

The British Virgin Islands are full of quiet harbours protected by windswept points. These points often extend below the water’s surface in the form of fantastic coral reefs teeming with wildlife.

Matt is a PADI certified Dive Master and Melissa is a PADI certified Rescue Diver. Both have extensive dive experience on the sites of the BVI and they look forward to assisting you with underwater photography so you can identify all the fish you see.

Don’t worry if you don’t own dive gear or don’t feel like lugging it around crowded airports, because Free Ingwe is equipped with buoyancy control devices, regulators, dive tanks, fins, masks, snorkels and weight belts.

If you aren’t a certified SCUBA diver, Free Ingwe divers will set up a “Discover Scuba Course” with one of the local dive shops. It’s a wonderful experience that will start you on the path to your new hobby.
